FATIMA A. AKINOLA: An African Woman with the stellar performance

Fatima A. Akinola emerged best student in her American University Masters degree with a perfect 4.0/4.0 in Mathematics at Marshall University, USA.
Prior to this, she emerged as the best graduating student in 2017 from Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, breaking a 42-year-old record in the process, as no female had achieved such feat.
Her feat didn’t just spark up, but she is an embodiment of excellence. She won a 100% scholarship at the Nigerian Turkish International College for her Senior High School. Also, she came first in Kano State (12th at National level) in Chemistry International Olympiad for Senior High Schools.
She is an inducted member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, which is a stamp of excellence conferred on her hard work. She was previously the President, Pan-African Student Association, Marshall University.
Following this impressive feat, Fatima will continue to push for excellence as she continues her PhD. in the University of Florida, USA.
