Locally-made electric buses are now being used in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital in Nigeria. The buses collect N50 per drop instead of the N100 charged by PMS-powered Buses.
They are produced right in Maiduguri by a young man known as Mustapha Gajibo, who supposedly dropped out of the university.
Nigerians are happy to see the buses being charged at charging points. Some say this shows that it is possible for great technological innovations to happen in Nigeria.
The buses were produced by Phoenix Renewables led by young Nigerian Mustapha Gajibo.
His innovative prowess attracted applause from many Nigerians who praised his skills.
